RIVER RESCUE COURSES
Description: This course is a two-day orientation to river safety & rescue for the whitewater boater. Develop the skills you need to keep you & your crew safe on the river with hands-on scenario training.

Prerequisites: Class II river skills & basic understanding of hydrology
Description: This course expands upon the river safety & rescue skills developed in the River Rescuer course, adding a night search & more extensive scenario training. This course is designed for the professional river guide.

Description: This NFPA-compliant course is designed for the agency professional tasked with river emergency response.

Prerequisites: Whitewater Rescue Technician course or similar skills
Description: This course picks up where the SRT leaves off, including more in-water, scenario-based training & a night search.

Prerequisites: Recent Swiftwater Rescue certification
Description: Ideal for recreational river users & aspiring guides, this course is full of useful skills to develop safe river practices. Skills covered in this course are appropriate for rafters, kayakers, paddleboarders & anglers alike.

Prerequisites: Swimming ability
Description: Offered as an add-on to the WRT-Rec, this course takes those river safety & rescue skills to the next level with more in-water, scenario-based training.
